Artist Biography
Angry Dan is a local poet and painter. He writes limericks about so many things, everyday life, science, historical figures, philosophy, and anything else that he comes across. He mostly uses a combination of spray paint and acrylics. He has 7 limericks dotted around the street of Walthamstow. He has painted all over the UK and overseas. He regularly conducts limerick writing workshops with local primary schools in the area.
Beans
This baked bean themed mural is an example of Dan's earlier work, which, by comparison is often sillier than his more recent educational or inspirational pieces. It was painted in 2019 as part of Waltham Forest's year as the London Borough of Culture. He has tagged Heinz many times in pictures of it on Instagram, but they have never shared it.
