Final Schools Visited Monday 27/04/15

Community worker Neesha Badhan went to visit Kelmscott School, a secondary comprehensive. She spoke about the St James Big Local to a Year 8 assembly. This specific year was put forward by the school to receive the talk as it chimed in well with their current curriculum subject of ‘Citizenship’ and community action.  It is hoped that the discussion will inspire some of the young people to be more involved in what is happening locally.

Coppermill Primary was the last of 8 schools that our Community Worker visited.  It was a full school assembly with approximately 300 children aged 3-11 years old. Some of the children at this school already knew about the St James Big Local and had parents who had been involved with the project at various points
